She is best known as the co-founder and host of “Herne Katha,” a popular Nepali online video series that tells the stories of ordinary people, focusing on their struggles and resilience. The show has garnered widespread acclaim for its human-interest stories and empathetic storytelling.
Before starting “Herne Katha,” Chapagain worked as a presenter and producer for BBC Media Action’s “Sajha Sawal,” a current affairs television program that engaged the public in dialogue with policymakers.
